Scott spent 16 years with A.G. Edwards/Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors. Twelve of those years were in management and leadership roles with responsibility for New Advisor and Branch Manager Development, Firm Continuing Education, e-Learning Curriculum Development, Risk & Training Curriculum and Client Associate Development.
From 2013-2015, Scott was the Director of Coaching for Altius Learning, working with founder Dave Mullen and his coaching team to deliver best practice coaching curriculum and content for advisors who were striving to reach the Million Dollar milestone.
Scott began his career in the wealth management industry in 1988. Prior to joining A.G. Edwards in 1996, he was a Financial Advisor with a Regional firm in Illinois. He was originally licensed to offer securities in 1993.
Scott earned his CFP® mark in 1995. He has been a three-time industry speaker at The Security Institute held at The Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania speaking on “Coaching for Improved Performance”.
Scott’s client service experience in the field, his work in designing Advisor and Branch Manager development programs, and his background in guiding Advisors in the field on the “how to’s” of reaching the next level, provides him a coaching background and broad understanding of best practice models which brings a valuable dimension to the Waddell & Reed coaching model.
Scott, and his wife Kate, live in St. Louis, MO with their four children.
